Ras Al Khaimah is a lovely Emirate which is directly at the border with Oman. It has a lovely harbour at the foot of the mountains. Cows and goats are part of the society, you will find them wandering through the streets, a very nice atmosphere.

The Ras Al Khaimah mountains are rough and there are many great places to go for a hike and through the old abandoned villages, but you can also drive off road and enjoy the spectacular sight of the mountains with a maximum height of 2000 mtrs. and the mountain villages.
Other than that you can visit the Ras Al Khaimah shopping mall with its park with a view at the creek and the mangroves, walk along the beach or through the mangroves with its big numbers of birds and other animals.
